In recent years there has been a large revival in the study of labour market issues in Ireland. This group was established as a forum for the discussion of issues in labour economics and so work which may be at a formative stage can be presented.

Our main activities are:

• Seminars.
• International links with colleagues in research networks and collaborative projects.
• Raising the awareness of labour market issues.
