John & Pat Hume PhD Scholarships

The Economics, Finance and Accounting Department at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth will offer two John Hume scholarships for incoming Ph.D.students, commencing 2007/2008. The scholarship includes fees plus a maintenance grant of €8000 per year and is tenable for a period of three years. The scholarship comes with teaching assistantship duties and some minor administrative duties. The fellowships are open to students from EU countries as well as to students from non-EU countries. Applications for the scholarship should be accompanied by formal PhD research proposal in a field compatible with the research interests of the department.
